JOB DESCRIPTION: Stage Electrician
Sands College of Performing Arts at Pace University has part-time openings for stage technicians. Required work will include: load in/strike, operations and maintenance lighting and sound components in accordance with professional standards. The abovementioned work will be conducted in the Tribeca Performing Arts Center (TPAC). Technicians will operate under the supervision of the Sands College of Performing Arts Technical Director and/or other designated Production Staff. Technical staff at TPAC will also be on hand as supervisors.
The work call dates are November 20 – December 9
Employment must be accepted for all scheduled days. Scheduled hours will include a mix of days, nights and weekends and can be viewed HERE.
The hourly pay range is $33.56/per hour.
The ability to work with a diverse group of people is essential. The ideal candidate will have experience in a university theater setting and a willingness to support student theatre and dance productions, student designers and student crews.
Required qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in Theatre
Minimum of 3-5 years of professional production experience
ETCP rigging certification preferred.

Bargaining unit employees engaged by Pace University and temporarily working in the Tribeca Performing Arts Center (TPAC), while the Schimmel Theatre replacement is under construction, shall be subject to the terms of the active collective bargaining agreement between Pace University and Local One, IATSE.
