Free Training Leads to Advancement in Building Trades

New York, NY - Fall 2005
The Mechanics Institute is currently registering students for the spring semester 2006. This year over 400 men and women from the building and construction trades took advantage of the tuition-free technical training offered by the Mechanics Institute. Since 1820, Mechanics Institute has provided technical training skills that have enabled tradespeople to increase their skills, gain promotions, and progress in their particular fields.

Mechanics Institute offers a variety of courses to working mechanics, plumbers, and other construction industry professionals in six areas of concentration: HVAC Systems Design, Plumbing Technology, Industrial Electricity, Project Management, Construction Technology and Facilities Management.

Students may register now for the Spring 2006 semester, which begins January 9. There are no tuition costs and courses are held during evening hours.
