Professional Performing Arts School Accepts Local One Tools

Dear Brothers and Sisters,
 
Mr. Keith Ryan, Principal of the Professional Performing Arts School, sends his thanks on behalf of all the high school students enrolled in the Theatre Tech Program for the generous donation of tools by the membership of Local One.  P.P.A.S. is located on 48th Street and is an integral part of our community.  Many of the Tech Students have expressed interest in the Local One Apprenticeship Program and careers in the entertainment industry. P.P.A.S students have performed in various Broadway productions, television shows, movies, operas, concerts and ballets.
 

           
The Executive Board thanks all those members who took the time to go through their tool boxes, stopped by the Union Hall and dropped off their donations to the tool drive.  It is never too early to teach young people the merits of the labor movement and all that it stands for.
