Brothers and Sisters, the Officers of Local One invite the members and their families to join us and show the people of New York City and the various unions at the parade the solidarity that has kept this Union strong over the last 122 years.

This year the parade will be on Saturday, September 6, 2008 at 10:00am. Again we will have a float with live music to listen to as we walk up Fifth Avenue. There will be entertainment for the children, T-Shirts and caps, and plenty of water. For those of you marching in the parade there will be a 2 hour luncheon starting at 12:00pm. For the members who cannot walk in the parade but would like to attend, there will be tickets available for grandstand seating at 69th Street & 5th. Avenue. The parade will start at 10:00am. Local One's contingent will meet on 44th Street bet. 5th and Vanderbilt Ave's. We can start showing up at 8:30am.
